The Vaavu Atolls belong to the Maldives group of islands and are commonly known as the Felidhoo atolls. The Felidhoos consist on two atolls which are known as Vattaru, the circular atoll, and the Main Vaavu Atoll. The circular atoll, known as Vattaru, has a diameter of 9 kilometers and has one island where its inhabitants live.

Vaavu Atoll has the shape of a boot and has a 55 kilometers unbroken reef which attracts visitors from all over the world. Many cruises and tours visit Felidhoo Atoll and choose it among its sisters as their Maldives destination due to its particular shape, its long reef and the beauty which can be enjoyed while visiting it.
