Some of the most visited Sodwana diving spots are its reefs. Sodwana's reefs vary in profundity allowing novice divers as well as those who are very experienced to find a suitable place where to dive. this way, some of this reefs can be found at less than 18 meters allowing hose divers who do not count with much experience to practice the activity while some other reefs are ideal for experienced divers since they have depths of more than 30 meters.

One of the most visited Sodwana’s reefs is the one known as Anton’s reef. Anton’s reef is 2 miles long and is a spot in which a very wide variety of beautiful fish and corals of different shapes can be seen. Divers who come to this spot might be able to observe from very close Big eyes, Snappers, Marbled Rays among many others.

The ideal months for visiting Sodwana are between April and September, although the rest of the year the conditions are still very nice. One of the most attractive characteristics of this area is that year around, the weather and water conditions for diving are always good. Water warmth range around 24 degrees, reaching the 28 degrees sometimes and is never lower than 21 degrees.
