Grande Comore and the four Comore Islands

Grande Comore is the biggest of a group of four islands called the Comores or the Comore Islands. These islands have the peculiarity that three of them, the Grande comore, the Moheli and the Anjouan islands are part of the Republic of Comoros while the fourth one, called Mayotte is French.

Although the four islands contain areas suitable for divers to explore, the most visited one for those who practice of this sport is the Grande Comore. The Grande Comore is the most popular of the group among divers and therefore the one which receives the greatest amount of people who practice this activity.

Grande Comore is not only famous among experienced divers but among those who wish to learn the sport as well due to the fact that its waters are great for those who are giving their first steps into the diving world. This way, all those who visit these islands and wish to dive but do not have experience on it can easily learn while being guided by experienced instructors.
