Although Mauritius is not one of the most known diving destinations of the Indian Ocean, it is one of the most beautiful ones. This destination is not only highly enjoyable by divers but by those who love spending some relaxing time at the beach as well. Mauritius’ beaches are extremely beautiful and most of them are very quiet as well, allowing visitors to relax while enjoying of their beautiful landscapes.

Mauritius is an island which offers several different diving areas to meet and explore. Besides this variety of diving areas, experienced divers who enjoy extreme sports are also attracted by the fact that sharks can be seen at some areas along with a lot of other sea life forms of all kinds.

Maurituis' waters are very warm since usually range in the 30º and sometimes their temperature is even higher than that. Besides this, there also are plenty of non-diving related activities such as beach sports or visiting the local lagoon. Besides this, those who enjoy socializing could meet several different ethnic groups who live in the island and mix with the population while meeting its town.
